How do I get a quote for scanning?
Send the location, the element to be scanned, the brief, and any drawings to Corvus. We come back the same working day with a quote, method, and a date in the diary.
Getting a quote from Corvus is straightforward. Here’s how.
Three ways to start
- The get a quote form on this site. Quickest for most enquiries.
- Email to bookings@corvus.build with the details below.
- Phone if you’d rather talk through the brief.
What to include
For the fastest, most accurate quote, include:
- Location — site address with postcode.
- The element — slab, wall, column, beam (or “multiple”), with approximate dimensions.
- Structural type if known — RC, post-tension, masonry, “not sure”.
- History — age, major works, any known defects.
- The brief — what question is the scan answering? Pre-drill, structural assessment, defect investigation, etc.
- Drawings if you have them.
- Site induction and PPE requirements.
- Programme constraints — when do you need it done by?
- Any unusual conditions — height work, confined space, secure environment, possession windows.
The more detail you provide, the more precise the quote.
What you receive
A defensible Corvus quote includes:
- Scope of work — what we will scan and how.
- Method statement summary.
- Day rate or fixed fee.
- Travel and any other charges, stated explicitly.
- Deliverable — on-slab markup, PDF report, CAD plan.
- Reporting timescale.
- Terms and conditions.
If anything is ambiguous, ask before signing.
Turnaround
- Quote turnaround: within the same working day for typical enquiries.
- Site attendance: within days of accepting the quote, subject to mutual availability.
- Reporting: typically next morning after attendance.
How charges work
- The quote itself is free.
- Travel, mobilisation and minimum charges depend on the site location, scope and programme — they are itemised in the quote so the basis is clear up front.
- Flexible on scope and size — contact us to discuss your project, whether it is a half-day attendance or a multi-week campaign.
Multi-service quotes
If your project would benefit from multiple Corvus services — say, GPR plus ferro on a structural assessment, or LiDAR plus GPR on an as-built capture — we quote them on the same enquiry. Combined attendance is more efficient than separate visits, and the quote reflects that.
What happens after the quote
Once you accept:
- We confirm the booking with date and time.
- The full method statement and risk assessment are issued for your review.
- Site induction is arranged (pre-induction wherever practical).
- We attend, scan, mark up, debrief on-site, and deliver the report on the agreed timescale.
A short checklist
Before sending the enquiry, check you have:
- The site address.
- The brief.
- Approximate dimensions.
- Any drawings to share.
- The programme.
That’s it. Send what you have, and we’ll come back with the rest.
